COOK I – II – III
Casual Positions (up to 20 hours per week)
Part-Time Positions (up to 32 hours per week)
Full-Time Positions (up to 40 hours per week)
Probation Starting Wages: $13.25/hr

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (not limited to)
Prepare all menu food items according to standard recipes and as specified to ensure consistency of product
Check and control the proper storage, cutting, portion control and quality of products, especially in specific cuts of meat
Prepare daily specials in accordance with products provided by Sous Chef
Organize preparation list for the following’s day functions
Maintain daily cleanliness and sanitation for work areas to comply with Department of Health regulations
Thoroughly clean work area at ending of shift
Good working knowledge of the fundamentals of all phases of cooking
Good working knowledge of accepted standards of sanitation
Knowledge of operating kitchen equipment
Basic math skills to understand recipes, measurements, requisition amounts and portion sizes
Ability to stand and work continuously in confined spaces
Ability to carry fifty (50) lbs on a regular basis

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Any combination of education, training experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, & abilities
High School Diploma or equivalent required

UTILITY
Casual Position (up to 20 hours per week. Probation Starting Wages: $11.50/hr)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (not limited to)
Responsible for setting and maintaining either the pots and pans area or dishwashing room area during work shift
Monitor and empty rubbish cans as needed
Sweep and mop all floors to ensure safe working conditions
Wash floor mats when necessary or at the end of work shift
Clean work station during and at the ending of work shift
Maintain daily cleanliness and sanitation of working areas during and after shift to comply with Department of Health regulations
Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products
Perform other duties as requested, such as unexpected spills or special guest requests
Keep floors dry and clean to avoid slip & falls
Perform other duties as requested by immediate supervisors/managers
Ability to grasp, lifts and/or carries, or otherwise, move or push goods on a handcart weighing a maximum of 200lbs
Ability to stand and work continuously in confined spaces
